The München department store Konen will soon have new owners. Breuninger's CEO Holger Blecker said in an interview: " München has long been a dream locations for Breuninger. The family-owned company Konen, with its "strong brand, deep local roots and close customer relationships, is a perfect addition to our store portfolio".

The acquisition is still subject to approval by the Bundeskartellamt, expected by the end of June.
