The Legacy of Lundgren
The recent announcement of the retirement of Macy's CEO Terry Lundgren and his replacement by Chief Merchandise Officer Jeff Gennette has triggered much comment on the state of department stores in general (yet again) and assessments of Lundgren's tenure at the company.
