The IMF has recently called it "The Great Lockdown" and is predicting the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression… It is imperative that retailers, who are both the most vulnerable industry to sudden unexpected disruption and, at the same time, deal every day with change, fashion, trends and nimble competition, should get the balance right between efficiency and robustness, and should do so without shrinking from the consequences, and with their eyes wide open.
