Stockmann considers divesting its Book House property

The Book House property of Stockmann in central Helsinki has been transferred to its real estate division, as the company is no longer operating a retail business from the premises since the hand over of its Delicatessen business to the S Group. The Book House which was designed by Alvar Alto, covers 8861 square metres and is occupied by a number of tenants including Bonnier Books which runs the Academic Bookstore.

Separately, the investigation process related to a possible divestment of the Nevsky Centre shopping mall in St Petersburg continues.
