French department store group Galeries Lafayette received a series of awards within the past few days to celebrate several of their initiatives. At the 29th Enseigne d'Or ceremony, they received the award for:

• Architecture for the Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysées store
• Efficiency for Eataly in le Marais
• Man of the Year to Nicolas Houzé

In addition, the retail magazine LSA underlined the commitment to sustainability of Galeries Lafayette through their Go For Good inititative by giving them awards for:

• Responsible merchandising to Galeries Lafayette
• Best CSR product for Louis Pion's private label collection of watches under the Go For Good banner
