Selfridges has teamed up with workspace company Fora to redesign a property across the road from its Oxford Street flagship to house a workspace as well as up to four new shops. The redesign, 4200sqm of commercial space, is set to open in autumn 2021. Fora will occupy six storeys of the building on the corner of Oxford Street and Duke Street, over the 2nd-7th floors, hosting both shared and private workspace. The retail space would be configured as up to four individual units fronting Oxford Street and Duke Street, directly opposite Selfridges' experimental retail space. There will also be an event space which will cover two floors, and feature an expansive terrace as well as a barista bar.

"Creating a flexible workspace in our redesigned building will allow us to continue to cultivate a young, creative community in the Duke Street neighbourhood surrounding Selfridges & Co," Selfridges Group head of asset management Tim Reade said.
