Profits fall in UK Stores

Selfridges has announced a drop in full-year profit of 1.9% to £152 million. This result was despite a 5% jump in gross sales to £1.4 billion, a record for the company. UK shoppers still account for 70% of sales. Selfridges receives 2 million people a week online and in its stores in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
