Globus appoints new buying director
Globus of Switzerland, which was put up for sale recently by owners Migros Group, has appointed a new merchandise director in the person of Franco Savastano who will take up his post on 1 October of this year. Mr Savastano was CEO of Jelmoli department stores before which he was a director at Grieder-Bon Genie.
He replaces Reto Braegger who will move to become General Manager of the Navyboot, part of Globus since 2018, and which will play a more important role in the future.
