After nearly three months of closure due to the Covid-19 crisis, Galeries Lafayette reopens its iconic flagship store on boulevard Haussmann in Paris. The retailer has taken essential measures to ensure safety of customers and staff: the number of customers is limited and visitor flow is organized using clearly sign-posted entrances and exits, masks are compulsory for both customers and employees, hand sanitizer is available at various points throughout the store, clear floor markings indicate social distancing requirements, plexiglass screens have been installed at the tills, items of clothing that have been tried on are removed for a few hours before theu are put back on display. For the time being, the store's restaurants  remain closed.
