Following the inauguration of Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées earlier this year, the opening of the first Eataly in France, and a new opening in Shanghai last month, the French department store is opening a new store in the French capital. The new Galeries Lafayette, located in shopping center Beaugrenelle, is spread over 8000sqm across four floors. It features more than 400 brands, ranging from access to high range, that cover fashion and accessories for men, women and children, and beauty. It replaces a recently shuttered Marks & Spencer.

Aimed at the local clientele, the store is smaller than usual and distinguishes itself by bringing new products and emerging brands, not available elsewhere in the shopping centre. Ten multibrand spaces have been set up, where curated brands and emerging labels will change on a regular basis.

This opening follows the closure of Galeries Lafayette outpost located in Montparnasse, southern Paris, a few weeks ago.
