Falabella loses its general manager, Gaston Bottazzini, after five years in office
What: Falabella has announced the resignation of its general manager, Gaston, Bottazzini, effective January 1, 2024.
Why it is important: The company is experiencing significant changes in its organisational structure after the appointment of the president, Enrique Ostalé who is the first president that is not part of one of the founding families of the business.
Bottazzini joined Falabella in 2008 as the general manager of Falabella Financiero and held the position for 10 years before taking over the general management of Falabella.
Regarding Falabella's financial performance, the company has incurred losses in the first semester of the current fiscal year. Its gross profit has decreased by 16.9%, resulting in a net loss of CLP 5,153 million.
