Elizabeth and James, the contemporary brand launched by Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, has entered into a licensing agreement with department store Kohl's after shutting down its store and most in-house operations last fall.

Kohl's future collections will be managed out of Kohl's New York design office and will include apparel, handbags, accessories and beauty products. It will be sold only at Kohl's stores and website.

Elizabeth and James will continue to operate as an independent business, led by founders and co-creative directors Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. They will continue to serve as creative directors of Elizabeth and James, leading the design and development of its seasonal collections.
