Breuninger offers Alipay and Wechat Pay
Breuninger of Stuttgart, Germany, has announced that it has introduced two new Chinese mobile payment platforms, Alibaba's Alipay, and Tencent's WEchat Pay. It is the first German department store to offer the two in all its stores. Last year, 12.4 million East Asian tourists visited Europe, a figure forecast to increase to just under 21 million by 2022. For the company it is a logical step to improving customer shopping experience.
