Barneys to reduce NYC flagship space
Barneys New York will reportedly reduce the size of its Madison Avenue flagship in New York City, vacating five of the nine stories it occupies. The move would see Barneys join a list of retailers who are rethinking their flagship strategies, as the stores remain costly while they lose importance amid shoppers' changing habits.
